Can it really be possible?

I can't believe she's 5 years old!  Allie, my baby, my little doodlebug is 5 years old!  Can it really be possible?  It just doesn't seem possible that it's been 5 years since she surprised us on her birthday.  We were not expecting a baby on June 5th by any stretch of the imagination!  We went in for the regular doctor's appointment and my blood pressure was high, so they sent me to the hospital for a stress test and before we knew it, they were sending us over to labor and delivery.  "You're having a baby today" they told us.....not what was on our plan for the day, but Allie let us know from day one that she wanted to be in charge and make the decisions.  She's challenged us for 5 years but also brought us so much joy!



This year, for her birthday, the only thing she wanted was a bike with a baby seat on the back (for her baby dolls)...and of course, she got it!

And she wanted to spend the day at the zoo, which we did!
