Into the Wild

Emma and Abigail went to into the "wild" of Camp Akita for their final day of 1-2-3 Akita....and Walker decided he wanted to go to the zoo and wanted Allie to come too....so, we went to the zoo this morning.


Jack Hanna was at the Columbus Zoo today filming for his TV show, Into the Wild. When Becki, Walker, Allie, Laura and I arrived at the zoo, we were told Jack Hanna was there filming today. He was actually right at the entrance at the Animal Encounters section and there were hardly any other people, besides staff, around him....so we walked over to check out the animals and Jack! We actually had the pleasure of meeting Jack Hanna, himself and having pictures taken (well, Allie was a little hesitant to get out of the stroller and pose with Jack....so it's actually a picture of him handing her a postcard that he autographed for us). It was pretty cool! I think we were all a little star-struck with our hometown Zoo star
