Fun in the Sun

We got a new sand table this year. Our old one didn't hold up after a couple of years of use in the backyard from Emma. We built the deck, almost two years ago now, so we finally decided to try a new sand table and hopefully keeping it on the deck, rather than in the yard, it will hold up a little better. We got a tip from a friend to use rice instead of sand....so the girls insist it is not a "sand" table, but a "rice" table. Whether it's sand or rice, they don't care....they just have fun playing! So, does Kent, our Godson, who lives across the street.

Today was also a beautiful day for Emma's soccer game. This is her second season to ever play soccer and she seems to enjoy playing. She's got an awesome coach and a great set of teammates this season!

We came home from the soccer game, and were invited outside by the Kimballs to play in the sprinkler. Today was a bright and sunny day with 80+ degree temps. After a hot soccer game, Emma, especially, was ready to cool off! We are going to really miss having the boys across the street (they are being moved to Guam with the Air Force in July). Here is a slideshow of some pictures of everyone running through the sprinkler. Eli loved the sprinkler more than anyone, with Emma and Garrett running close behind.....Allie preferred to sit on the towel and clap for everyone as they ran through.
